Join the Forest Lake American Legion Post 225 for a vibrant Fourth of July celebration from July 3rd to July 7th at Lakeside Memorial Park. Enjoy carnival games, thrilling rides, and a variety of food options. The highlight of the event is the fireworks display at 10 p.m. on July 4th, promising a spectacular end to the festivities.

Lake Elmo

Lake Elmo's downtown area on Main Street will be bustling with excitement on July 4th with their annual Kids Parade & Activities starting at 10 a.m. Kids are encouraged to decorate their wagons, bikes, or even tractors for the parade. The event also features face painting, an ice cream social, a dunk tank, fire trucks, and more, ensuring a fun-filled day for families.

White Bear Lake

White Bear Lake offers a plethora of activities for Independence Day. The festivities kick off with the VFW Auxiliary 4th of July Pancake Breakfast from 9 a.m. to noon at the American Legion. Later in the day, the Birchwood 4th of July Parade begins at 9:30 a.m. at Birchwood Avenue and East County Line Road, inviting community participation. The excitement continues with the Independence Day Boat Parade at noon, starting from Mahtomedi Beach, where spectators can enjoy creatively decorated boats parading through the water. The day concludes with "Fireworks over the Lake" from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at West Park and Memorial Beach. This event includes live music, playground fun, food, a beach experience, and a plane flyover, with fireworks lighting up the sky at 10 p.m.

Stillwater

Although the Fourth of July events in Stillwater have been postponed due to flooding, the community will still enjoy a stunning fireworks display over the St. Croix River and the Historic Lift Bridge from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. on July 4th. Preceding the fireworks, live music will entertain guests starting at 5:30 p.m. Another event, "Light a Spark," hosted by the Stillwater Public Library Foundation, will take place from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at the library terrace. This event includes food, a cash bar, games, and a prime view of the fireworks.

Maplewood

Maplewood’s Hazelwood Park will host the "Light It Up Maplewood" celebration on July 4th from 4 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The event features bounce houses, yard games, food trucks, and live music starting at 6:30 p.m. The festivities culminate with a spectacular fireworks show at 10 p.m., making it a perfect spot for families to celebrate together.

Marine on St. Croix

In Marine on St. Croix, the day begins with the Marine 4th of July Race at 9:15 a.m. at Hay Lake Schools Lions Pavilion. Participants can choose between a 2-mile and a 4-mile running race, with proceeds benefiting the Marine on St. Croix Restoration Society. Online registration is available through July 2nd, with on-site registration also offered on the day of the race.

Woodbury

Woodbury’s Hometown Celebration will take place at 4125 Radio Drive from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. on July 4th. Hosted by Woodbury Parks & Recreation, the event features live music, food trucks, a kids' zone, and a fireworks display at 10 p.m., creating a festive atmosphere for all attendees.

Afton

Afton’s Fourth of July Celebration kicks off at 1 p.m. on Main Street. The event includes a traditional parade, along with food, drinks, music, and trolley rides, offering a classic and enjoyable Fourth of July experience for the community.

Coon Rapids

Coon Rapids will host a multi-day Fourth of July celebration from July 2nd to July 4th at Boulevard Plaza. The event includes carnival attractions, food trucks, and fireworks. Notably, the Firecracker 5K at 8 a.m. and the Kids Sparkler Dash at 9:15 a.m. on July 4th provide fun and fitness for participants. The celebration culminates with a grand fireworks display at 10 p.m. on July 4th.
